Editorial policy
How our questions and guides are prepared and corrected.
Draft. This describes how the content is prepared today. Reviewer names and qualifications will be added before launch, and until then this page is not indexed by search engines.
Where the content comes from
- Practice questions and topic guides are original work.
- Past-paper questions and mark schemes are transcribed from exam-board papers into structured form. Each question records the paper it came from, and marks must add up to the paper's total before it is published.
- Software helps to prepare content, but nothing is published automatically: every paper is checked against the original before students see it.
Accuracy
A wrong question or answer costs students time and trust, so a question that is found to be wrong is withdrawn or corrected as soon as we can verify the problem. Guides and tools carry a "last reviewed" date.
Reporting a mistake
Every practice and past-paper question has a "Report a problem" link for signed-in students. We read every report. See also the about page.
Grades and predictions
We never claim that a score or percentage is an official grade or a prediction. Grade boundaries are set by the exam boards after each series.
